I know that you can see how many copies of a book on your bookshelf are available if you put them on your reminder list.  However, I was wondering if there is any way to tell where a book is for FIFO?

So if I post a book and there are 200 copies available is there a way to see that my book is number 157 out of 200, etc?   If not I think that would be a nice feature.  It would also be nice to see how many

copies of a book are in the system without having to put it on the reminder list.

Anyone have any thoughts?

There is no way of telling where in the FIFO line your book is after you have posted it. As you mentioned, putting it on your reminder list will tell you how many are in the system, but not where you are in that line.

I don't see them making that a feature since people might delete a book from their bookshelf if they felt it wasn't going to be requested. I often have books on my bookshelf that I know have hundreds in the system requested from me through the "order more from this member" feature, so even though my book might be #187 out of 200, it still gets requested.
