Edited 5/5/08   THANK YOU!   To all who sent books and offered.  Gob Bless,  KK

(My daughter has taken over a class for a teacher who's out on maternity leave. She's teaching Anne Frank, but the teacher didn't leave her enough copies of the book. (It's a very small school.) She's tried the library and since she's getting married in July she's on a budget. Just wondering if anyone out there has two copies they wouldn't mind sending for one credit. It has to be a recent publication with the entries that were left out of earlier versions. We'd need them right away, and  It's a small book so I'm hoping  you could send it first class._

I have a book in my shelf called Yours, Anne that describes her life. Its written by Lois Metzger and published by Scholastic, and I think you might be interested.

QUOTE: "As a teenager, Anne Frank knew she wanted to be a writer. Her life was tragically cut short when she died during the Holocaust. Her words, though, live on through a diary she kept while hiding from the Nazis. Those words---along with the memories from people who knew her----make up the pages of this moving biography. Meet Anne Frank, a girl who managed to find herself in spite of living in the most unimaginable circumstances."

I have one copy of the book.  It's not currently listed on my shelf, but I could post it if you need me to.  I picked it up from the library as a discard, and it's in pretty good condition.  Let me know if you're interested.
