Third in this great series featuring Lady Susanna Appleton. This is a wonderful book in the series. I love this series! The fact that Kathy Lynn Emerson lives in Maine as I do really has no effect on my review! Highly recommend book and series.
This third entry in Emerson's Elizabethan mystery series is the best one yet, a riveting read with an explosive ending. Susanna Appleton hunts for a serial killer who murders one woman each year, while her husband Robert pursues a scheme he hopes will give him everything he's ever desired ... but that could lead to his ruin.
