The Chase Giving is in another round of its Facebook voting. During each round they give away millions of dollars to charities. The top 100 charities get at least $25,000! Each person gets 10 votes and can only vote for a charity once so if you have any extra votes, we have all 4 of our local rescues trying to win this round so I LOVE it if you shared your extra votes with us.

Fargo-Moorhead Humane Society - this is where I volunteer at and foster with and where we adopted Avie, Mittens and Tiger from. We have a small shelter with a kitten room that holds up to 25-30 kittens, a cat room with 17 kennels, 9 dogs kennels, plus a very small isolation room. We often have collapsable kennels in the hallway holding overflow dogs in order to try to save as many as possible and with foster homes can have 80-90 pets in their care at any given time. https://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunit ... vote_share

Minn-Kota PAAWS is our low-cost spay/neuter and TNR (trap-neuter-release) organization. They are fairly young as an entity but have already reduced the homeless population and completely eliminated some of the feral colonies by trapping, sterilizing, and relocating the adults and socializing and adopting out the kittens. They are trying to expand into helping with dogs in the recent years. Because of costs, they are having to spin off their shelter portion this year to focus their funding on the TNR and spay/neuter function and we may lose one of our shelters that houses up to 40 cats at a time.https://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunit ... vote_share

Adopt-a-Pet is a foster only organization. It is pretty small but has been taking on more pets as the need has grown. Lately they have 40-50 pets in their care. They take in both cats and dogs.https://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunit ... vote_share

4 Luv of Dog Rescue is a pretty big dog rescue. Now normally I'd descriminate against a rescue that descriminates against cats  but they actually have some cats in their adoption listing from time to time and the reach across the states (MN, ND, and SD) to help the other regional pounds when they can to save as many dogs as possible. They are a foster only organization and often have 70+ pets in their care. They take in dogs regardless of their age or medical need so their costs can go up quickly. https://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunit ... vote_share

To get some of this grant money into our local area would be so wonderful! I have used all my votes :( but if you have a charity that you are working on, share the link and I will share it on my wall to find votes for you too!
