Any books with fairies as characters? Any books with fantasy characters or quests? I already have a long list to add to my wish list from my last request in this forum but I have been trying to find books with fairy characters for a while now.

ooo...is that henry fitzroy as your pic?  love him.  if you like fairy characters than you'd probably like the Merry Gentry books by laurell K Hamilton.

Yes, isn't he yummy? =p I found this site and it lists books by category. http://fantasyromancewriters.com/themes.cfm?genreID=194 there is the list of fairy romance if anyone is interested. I am going to check them out. I will look at Laurell K as well but I am kinda mad at her over Anita Blake, lol.

Susan Krinard has "The Forest Lord" and "Lord of the Beasts," which I'm finishing and posting this evening.

Bertrice Small just started a Fantasy themed series where the main character is half human half fairy.  It's the World of Hetar Series.

These aren't straight romance, but they came right to mind:

The Autumn Castle by Kim Wilkins

The Faerie Path by Frewin Jones

Seraphim by Michele Hauf  (The reader reviews for this one are all over the chart.  The first chapter is written very oddly, and I think many people didn't bother to read further.  It gets better after that!)

ETA:  I'm gonna go ahead and guess that Emma Holly's future release, Fairyville, will likely have some fairy involvement -- it will likely be erotica.

if you don't like anita blake you may not like the merry gentry series...there are many similarities, but the sex has a much more plot relevance.  Without giving anything away...merry is a faerie princess that will inheirit the throne if she can get pregnant.

i'm not sure they'd be considered romances either...they're more like paranormal mysteries with sex.  lol...that sounds odd.  it wasn't suppossed to...oh well.
