Parents who would counsel sons and daughters to live lives of chastity and moral integrity find many problems confronting them. Youth leaders who would inspire their charges to righteous endeavor and happy, abundant, productive, living find many hurdles to surmount. Young married people who set a course for happiness find many detours along the way. Many in responsible positions, who set the pattern, provide the intensive and encouragement and give purpose to the vast Church program find much of discouragement leading to despair. Everywhere there are obstacles.
If we would measure up, if we would succeed, every hour of the day calls for vision, for the strength of inspiration and the wisdom of experience and understanding.
The many decisions required of us and the problems that arise demand that we fortify ourselves with all the counsel and help possible.« less
