So, what's everyone planting for the fall?

I'd like to try some tulips and goldenrod.  I've never been interested in tulips but have a strong urge to put them all over the beds in front so that's on my list.  I'd also like to find some sweet cherry bushes that I plant in my zone.  No space for multiple cherry trees so maybe some sweet cherry bushes exist and I can get my hands on them (any suggestions??).  Need some evergreen shrubs to block out the neighbors ;)  Whenever these oak and maple trees give out their seeds I'll be collecting some of those too.  So far, that's my fall to do list.

Good luck with your planting!  Tulips are pretty but so short lived for us that I mostly quit.  However, the cemetery had a lot this spring and they did look nice.

I guess I will be planting coreopsis.  I ordered it in the spring but it didn't come then.  It came Wed. and the dog played with the box for awhile (at least he didn't open it!).
