In this evocative family drama, the three sons of a husband-and-wife archaeologist team investigate whether their father may have had a role in the death of their mother, killed at a Mayan ruin excavation.

Riveting tale of a prominent archaeologist, whose life was shattered on the most important excavation of his life. His wife was murdered and his reputation was ruined. When he started his life over, he cut off contact with his 3 sons and took a beautiful young woman into his home as his lover. When his actions made his sons suspicious that he actually had something to do with their mother's murder, they started their own investigation. Definitely a good read.
