I read Christopher Pike as a child, and was weary of an adult book by him. This thriller exceeded all my expectations! It was fast-paced, interesting, and well written. I recommend it to anyone who likes the suspense/thriller genre.

Pike has only gotten better with time! So glad to get this. It was the first "can't put it down" that I have had in a LONG time. Read it in about two days, and I really don't have the time for tha! It was a great suspense with lots of twists I didn't see coming. I read his Young Adult when I hwas a Young Adult and now to have his Adult Mysteries not disappoint made my week!!

I love all of Christopher Pike books. I read most of them in high school, but I continue to pick them up when I come across them. I found this one in a Crown Books overstock store. its an advance copy, before edits.

I read Thousand Splendid Suns and Kite Runner the two days before I read Falling, so I was a little worried because they were such excellent books.

This was great though! Not at all like his horror books for youth. It's about a heartbroken guy who plans his own death, the woman who broke hi heart and whos son gets kidnapped, and the female FBI agent working on the case. There are a ton of twists and turns and i didnt want to put it down.

Theres a lot on the FBI agent's previous case- that could be made into its own book, it was such a great gory tale.
