Oliver Chancellor is ready to take his place in his family's bank. His future mapped out for him, he is content until he meets Rory St. Claire. She turns his life upside down and now the mismatched pair can't keep their hands off one another. Could this unlikely duo forge a future together?
First of three in a series. Good reads!!
I love Julie Ortolon and this book doesn't disappoint. This is the first in a trilogy of books about the St. Claires. "Falling for You" introduces us to Rory St. Claire. Her family has lived in Galveston for generations, but have long suffered the injustices of old rumors and dirty laundry. When Rory finds out that the family's ancestral home, long since owned by a family enemy, has gone up on the market, Rory is determined to buy it and turn the Island mansion into a beautiful B and B. She knows the house is said to be haunted and she is ready to cash in on its strong and sexy past.
Oliver Chancellor is the banker who is in charge of selling the forclosed Island estate and he knows his future depends on a sucessful sale. When Rory goes to him to try and buy the home, the sparks fly. Oliver's world is turned upside down by Rory and there is no way to escape the attraction, the lust, and the love.
This is a great story. Ortolon is a fantastic writer who knows how to mix a lot of romance with a bit of mystery, a heartfull of passion and a whole lot of laughs. I am eager to continue reading this trilogy and can't wait to see what happens when the rest of the St. Claire family finds their own laughs and love!
This book was plain fun! The nerdy, insecure characters become your friends and you just can't help rooting for them. A fun, sweet, candyquick read.
First in this engaging trilogy.
Excellent read about Rory St. Claire. This is the first of 3 books about the St. Claire siblings. If you like connected books I highly recommend these 3 by Julie Ortolon.
A modern day romance about two people as different as can be coming together when Rory St Clair decides to buy a home that had been owned by her ancestors and turn it into a B&B.
Great Book. Enjoyed reading it
First in the series. This is baby sister Aurora (Rory) story. Quick easy read
I always enjoy her light-hearted humor.
I really loved this book!I would recommend this book a great read!
A laughing search for love & sunken treasure.
Light, humorous, fun read!
Very sexy! Julie Ortolon is a fantastic author.
it was a very cute book. I love this author, and can't wait to read more of her.
I should never have checked this book out from the library when I read the following back description, "...Chance is content with the future that's been mapped out for him, right down to his upcoming engagement to a prim debutante enthusiastically approved by his socialite mother...". I couldn't get past the second chapter when we see that Chance is expecting to engage himself to a woman that he hasn't even been tempted to kiss. Not the type of wish-washy guy I want to read about in a romance.
