A fun book to read. A break from the usual style of this author. Well worth it.

Historical fiction during American Revolution.

Michael Fallon arrives from Ireland with nothing much more than determination. Good read.

Good Revolutionary War story about a bonded servant who leaves trouble in Ireland and comes to America with one thought in mind: to find a place for himself where he would never again bend a knee to anyone. Good story.

This is a very interesting book, set in Revolutionary times. I really liked it, but I wouldn't recommend the sequel (a main part of its plot concerns the romantic relationship between the half-brother and half-sister of the hero of this novel). The author also writes as Robert Jordan.

In Charleston, South Carolina, Fallon begins. From bondsman to rice planter, from planter to privateer; from the beautiful, disturbingly sensual Elizabeth Carver to the lovely and loving Gabrielle Fourrier; from peace to the greatest Revolution the world has ever seen-a novel beating with the passion of THE FALLON BLOOD!
