They need to make a television around Victor Carl, and get James Spader of Boston Legal to play him. It would be a winner!! Another good tale from Lashner.

I love this series - with the attorney Victor Carl -- not your typical attorney. Excellent book - an intricate tale involving a murder trial, a French chef, and a dentist! I highly recommend it (and others by this writer). It is fast-paced and witty and suspenseful. An excellent read!

The narrator of a book on CD can make or break the whole story. Don Leslie is a wonderful reader! This book had me laughing out loud in parts. I found myself sitting in my garage after work, hating to turn off my car! My copy does not have the outer box, just the sleeves that hold the CDs.

William Lashner has moved to the top of my favorite authors list! Many suprising plot twists...that I didn't see coming...and well developed, and very unique, characters.

This story is a little different from the usual murder mystery. A good bit of fun, engrossing, and well-told, it has some characters (one in particular - Bob) that will stick with you for a while - and you won't mind. Very enjoyable.
