this is not a request for cash. This is a story about a local family that my Bible study has adopted to help. We are reaching out to anyone else that wants to send things to help, as well.

The woman in question has 3 children - 9,6, and 2. We know about them because the 2 year old has Down's, and my cousin is their social worker for their in home aid, ect. When the 2 year old was born, the mom was planning to get her tubes tied, but they relized the baby had issues, and they told her 'stay here and get your tubes tied, or go with the baby', so of course, she put off getting her tubes tied. She didn't quite ever get around to it, and now she's preggers again. With - ready for this? - QUINTS! How awesome and unexpected! God moves in the most mysterious ways.

She is having 4 girls and one boy. She has her 5 cribs already, but we need about everything else. She goes to a tiny church, so we are looking for help outside, as well. If you have anything you want to donate - even a small amount, like a few old bottles or 5 pacifiers, whatever - hotbox me and I will send you my sister's street level address. If you live in the So. In area near Louisville, KY, and would be interested in volenteering next year to stop around and rock babies, ditto.

I thought this wonderful, warm, loving group was definatly one of the places this info should go out to!

Yes! there is a picture of her! OMG, for only 19 weeks, she is HUGE! Our Bible study has rented a storage space for her to keep things that are donated until she can make room for everything - we are sorting things by age/gender so she can get each set of things as she needs them. We don't want her to be overwhelmed by the volume of thingss needed for her new, large family.

hey, Debbie, the women of our church are holding a babies shower for her, First Baptist Church of Elizabeth. If you are interested in driving up the hill, I will double check the date for you !! :)
