I had high expectations of this book and was sorely disappointed. Having grown up in the Hudson Valley I expected to hear a lot more about the history of the farm, however, the first three chapters were devoted to the apple trees on the farm and honestly the next few chapters weren't much more interesting. I put this one down before finishing it.

A nice telling of one family's home and the people who lived there. A good read.
