Told through a series of exchanged letters, this is the story of Sally Ross, a middle-aged actress, and a fan whose obsession increases to a dangerous point.

This story is told through a series of correspondences, some of which are only a paragraph or two long, and few of which are longer than a page, making this a fast read. At times it seems a bit predictable, but Randall uses the characters' wit and humour to keep the reader involved. I was afraid the ending would be a let-down, but there is an unexpected twist that left me satisfied by the story.
Some text of a graphic violent and sexual nature, but not to the point of being gratuitous.
