Once an editor of a newspaper in England, Rosie moves to the countryside. She and her husband, Charlie, give a 'go' at growing a garden and raising pigs. Their adventure turns into one of learning experiences, growing produce and flowers to be sold at a farmer's market, supplying eggs & vegetables to local businesses, one of which is the Dillington House. The ups and downs of raising pigs, and learning the ropes of gardening, each proves to be a challenge; the couple hope one day to 'break even, and eventually make a profit,' of which the two manage after a time in this adventure. An interesting read on rural life and what it entails to be a successful farmer and producer. A great read.
