I just finished ~They Said We'd Never Make It~ by Tammi Menendez.  She is the lady that married Erik Menendez ( he and his brother Lyle brutally killed his parents)  I have had it on reserve for ages and was shocked to get it this week.  What a fascinating story she has to tell. I went to her web page and it has been suspended..so I wonder if they are still married?  Does anyone know any info on them?  At the end..he was transfered to a different prison and she had to move again. I see someone may have mine on their wish list..( they have a certain time to respond) but I would recommend you putting it on your wish list.  It's a small hardback and I finished it in a few hours.

I did read that but  out of all the shows about women who marry men in prison I never hear a word about them anymore. I would be interested to know about the lady who married and fathered a child by Richard Ramierze ( The Night Stalker) I never hear about her anymore either. Anyhow just thought I'd reply becauze I watch so many of those crime shows it's absurd and I just never have heard anything else about  her either.

Have you guys read the book about Dr. Jeffrey MacDonald?  It's an old book but a GOOD one!!  He was accused of and sentenced to life in prison for killing his wife and two young daughter's by brutally stabbing them with knives and also beating them with a club.  He was an outstanding physician with a perfect record and also a Green Beret!!  You may have even read the book.  The title is "Fatal Vision"   It was a GREAT read...My mom's reading it right now but I will be posting it soon.  It is a very thick book but you won't be able to put it down until you've read the whole thing.  There's also a book out entailing why a lot of people think he is innocent, and that book is called "Fatal Justice"  I think there is also a revised issue ot that one.  I'm going to try and get that book as soon as I get some credits from the books I have mailed out :)   I have a few tc books listed at this time so check them out if you get a chance!  The book "They Said We'd Never Make It" sounds great!!  I will also be on the lookout for that one. Maybe it can be found on eBay!    Paula Noel

Fatal Vision is a great book Paula.  I recently saw a Dateline type of program on McDonald.  He is married..and hoping to get out of prison some day.  He is finally going to see if he can get out on parole.  They explained how he had gone on TV and got publicity after his family's death ( he went on Dick Caveats show and was very cavalier about their murders) ..and if he hadn't done that..he probably would never have been charged.

p.s.  I think he is guilty

McDonald is guilty as sin. That was a fantastic book and very difficult to put down. I still occasionally go to the website that is devoted to his trial and case, etc. It is an exhaustive site. http://www.thejeffreymacdonaldcase.com

There is another site that maintains his innocence and there you can now see a current picture of him.  He is an old man now.

I hope he never gets out. His murder of his family was one of the most brutal I have ever seen.
