Good book. Chick lit, but different than most. I enjoyed the way the characters moved in and out of different plotlines.
While I love her recent books I just didn't like this one. In fact I found myself skimming most of it.
"Don't worry, I won't make love to you." Manya took this to mean that he would not enter her. What he meant was that it was not love.
I really enjoyed this book. It made me wonder how my thoughts would have been different if I had read it when I was the age of the main characters - that is, eighteen and trying to find myself in my first year of college. Anyone (especially a woman) who has found herself there will find this infinitely relatable. Your heart breaks a little for each character and you find yourself wanting to be able to tell them that they will not turn out to be who they were at eighteen - and I'm sure most of us can say "And thank God for that." It's a quick, worthwhile read and I would recommend it. Very poetically written and quotable.
