This is a great book to read during the Christmas season. The setting is near Boone, North Carolina, in the heart of the Christmas tree growing industry. Jason is torn between living the life his father wanted for him on Wall Street and living a simpler life in the mountains. Mandy's young nieces are trying to live without the love and concern of their "dead-beat dad". Though this is a short romance, the characters are well-developed and the story is plumped up with love and life.
