What crafts are you the best at / like the most?

What crafts do you wish you were better at / plain don't enjoy?

I like beading, and it comes easily to me. Sewing is up there, but I wish I could do fancier things.

I hate stained glass with a passion. I did it in school two or three times, and I never got into it.

I have been making/selling jewelry for 5 years and just love it! I make pendants out of polymer clay and resin and love that too!!! I also do mosaics. If I had more time I would like to make cards and fuse glass but I am buy enough! Stuff like knitting has never seemed fun to me.

I  am taking up a new craft hobby soon of making book journals or diaries out of old vintage beautiful book covers from hardcover books damaged but covers are in great condition ( see my signature) Hope I can collect some. I have a vintage Little Women book really old that I want to try first!

Would also like to experiment with making beautiful ornate Christmas ornaments from vintage Christmas nativity scenes, vintage Christmas religious postcards or other Christmas ornaments focusing on the Christian meaning of the holiday

I used to do counted cross stitch years ago but quit when my oldest son was a fussy baby! He's 27 now but I never counted cross stiched again!

Blessings on all your craft projects!  Jody

I love knitting and crocheting. I also like making cards, but I hate scrapbooking. I wish I was a better sewer. I'm convinced that my machine hates me, so I do most of my sewing by hand because it's less stressful. I like jewelry making too and I enjoy modeling with polymer clay but I totally suck at it. My stuff always ends up with fingerprints embedded in it no matter what I do.

Knitting and drawing are my favorites.

Sewing is probably my least favorite.  I've thrown off the timing on my machine four or five times in the past year, and I'm pretty sure it's not the machine's fault...  I can hand sew quite well, though, so I tend to do that more than use my machine.  Next up in line would be crochet, scrapbooking (which I dearly wish I had the patience for), and jewelry making.

Cheryl, have you ever tried wearing gloves? you can also smooth out fingerprints with some rubbing alcohol or anti-bacterial gel.

I make jewelry, sew my own clothes, hand embroider, do kumihimo braiding and knit for my nieces.  I like most of the crafts I've tried - my problem is (except for sewing & knitting) ending up with too much.  I bought stuff to scrapbook but ended up just putting my vintage greeting card collection in the books.  I  like kumihimo but don't always know what to do with the braids.  I make jewelry using antique gold watch chain and semiprecious stones but find I can barely get my materials back out when I sell because there is so much competition.  My best sales have been to co-workers who asked where I've gotten my jewelry.  Most of them have wanted me to use sterling silver for them - I've only had one person ask for solid gold.  Everything I've made for myself I've used solid gold wire & fittings but sometimes I get tired of it.  I've never tied Etsy - just Ebay to sell.  It does help to list it in antique categories because I've used Victorian chain.

About 5 years ago I got rid of my Pfaff and splurged on a Bernina and I think it's made it even easier to sew.  A good machine does make a difference.

I love to sew and can do just about anything....when I have time.

As for hated, no much but I really can't get the tension right for knitting and don't like it, love crochet even though I'm mediocre.

Wish I could "paint" as in envision an idea and paint it!!

currently reading The Frog Princess series with my granddaugther....we race to see who gets done first - i just finished the third and she just started it, but I don't have the fourth yet   :(

I love crochet and sewing.

I wish I could get the hang of knitting. I can do straight needles. But, when it comes to double pointed or circs - forget about it. There are so many instruments needed in knitting. Some patterns call for 3 different types of circs. I have a bit of love/hate relationship with knitting. Love the patterns, hate that it's complicated (well, more than crochet, at least).

I would say that I am best at Scrapbooking and cardmaking

What would I like to be good at? Am I limited to how long this post can be? I have always wanted to do miniatures, dollhouses.

Sorry I missed the least favorite craft in my post above... Which would probably be small beadwork. I just dont have the patience for it.

Most favorite would have to be sewing, and crochet.  I love making pretty things.  Least favorite would be cross stitch as it takes too long.  I really like making clothes for my children and one granddaugther, also anything lacy and pretty.  Love crochet edgings and ribbon embroidery.  Also scrapbook.

Cardmaking is definitely my favorite.

Least favorite...hmmm...cross stich. I used to be really into it. Too tedious for me now.
