I found this book to be very romantic .......and witty. The heroine, young widow, Violet Treacher, has a great sense of humor. I mean, one has to, doesn't she, when she and her entourage travel a very long way to Cornwall to inhabit a run-down estate she has inherited from her late husband. The house is occupied by a bunch of cats and a single lazy dog. And then Violet decides to bathe the cats after their fleas got into her bed............Pandemonium!

THis book starts of great. There are so many funny moments. I loved both H/H. The only bad thing about this book is that in the middle it kind of drags on for while but the end is good. I would definitely recommend this book.
