First book I've read with PTSD as the linchpin of the story. Not real sure it holds the story together well, though. But, it does end up being a good old murder mystery with some deeply disturbed main characters who are definitely looking for OZ and the magic fix for their problems. Good villian! His motivation is well described and he's one devoted and determined bad guy, that's for sure. Bought on a whim and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. All in all...pretty good book.

A plot-driven thriller that keeps you turning the pages.

I still prefer his Whit Mosley books over the standalones.

Very hard to follow, too many characters, about an illegal drug that might cure PTSD(which about all the characters are afflicted with) so the chase and killing is on while an assassin is hunting them for the drug

Frankly I didn't care that much for it

Well written very quick read, enjoyed thoroughly. Hope he continues to write so I can read more of his books.
