I'm interested in what everyone else is reading this month - I have a lot of books in my TBR pile, so seeing what some of you are into may help me decide which to read next... or maybe add more to my WL :)

I just finished Charlie All Night by Jennifer Crusie, and am working on Chasing Harry Winston by Lauren Weisberger and Cocktails for Three by Madeleine Wickham... so what have you got?

I'm currently reading Memoirs of a Geisha.  I just finished the fifth book in the Stephanie Plum series.  I also read Breaking Dawn this month.  I think my next book will be Real Vampires Live Large or Hot Six.

Right now I am working on Slave to Fashion by Rebecca Campbell. It's starting a bit slowly, but I hope to have it finished this week.

I'm just finishing "Getting Even" by Kayla Perrin which is listed as an "erotic fiction novel" and it certainly is! I just listed it to my shelf since I'm about done, and going to start the sequel, "Getting Some" next!

I just finished Be Careful What You Wish For- Alexandra Potter.  I thought it was a cute book.  I just started The Hour I First Believed-Wally Lamb.  I'm hoping it's as good as everyone says.

I've been going through some of ya'll's (i'm from Texas give me a break)  WL list and notice that I have quite a few of those WL books on my tbr shelf or my books i've read shelf that I haven't posted yet.    I would love to be able to send more than one book out to the same person to save from postage, and I'm sure most of ya'll would to.  Since I kinda feel like ya'll are all my fellow chick lit buddies, and I know that ya'll are here as much as me I was thinking maybe we can start a WL thread like the paranormal thread does.  Just a suggestion....Feel free to pm me to see if I have any of your WL books that I can post to you.

Queen of Babble Gets Hitched,  Everything I know about being a Girl I learned from Judy Blume,  and The Sugar Queen are just some examples of whats sitting on my books I've read shelf.  I have quite a few more.

I would be happy to accept multiple WL books :-) and I have credits, so post away. I am posting in here again because I've moved on to "Drinking: A Love Story" - definitely not chick lit and actually not very good. I took it because I got some bad news Saturday and WANT to wallow. but this is boring. It's nowhere near the quality of TWO other drinking rehab books I loved: "Smashed" and "Wasted" and also "Dry" by Augusten Burroughs. Considering dropping it and picking up "My Horizontal Life" by Chelsea Handler b/c I have a friend who has "Are You There Vodka" and wants to trade. I may stay with "Drinking" till the end b/c I hate to quit midway, but I dunno. Right now I'm going to watch Adam Sandler in "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" and cuddle my kitty! :-) Happy reading!

I just started Don't Forget About Me by Jancee Dunn, but I just couldn't get into it. I usually have no trouble eventually liking or getting at least a little interested in books I don't care too much for in the beginning. This one I just absolutely hated and put it down (which is very rare for me). Now I'm reading New Moon by Stephanie Meyer. I know not chick lit, but I like to bounce around to different genera's.

Melissa V,

I think a WL thread would be great. There's been many times I've wanted to offer WL books here to help save on shipping, but I was afraid someone would get mad or upset with me for it. I'm all for it! Thanks for suggesting it!

I just finished Twenty Times a Lady-Karyn Bosnak.  I loved the book, found myself laughing out loud a couple of times.  Also, out of all the chick lit books I've read this book had the best guy in it, Colin.  I found myself crushing on a fiction character! LOL!
