I am listening to the last in the Love at Stake series by Kerrelyn Sparks, Crouching TIger, Forbidden Vamp, which I got via Scribd audio.

Reading Promises Prevail by Sarah McCarty, which I have had forever, finally getting to it. Loving it so far!

Just finished Delilah S Dawson's Wicked As They Come and it was a compelling read. Also currently reading Rose Lerner's True Pretenses and it has been a really unique read so far.

I'm reading Captivated By You (Crossfire) and I'm liking it but having trouble finding the time to read, and having trouble remembering what happened in the previous books. Way too long between books!

Loved Promises Prevail. I think the characters and the plot was great. Editing, not so great.

Slogging through Barbarian Prince by Kaitlyn O'Connor. I think it's got to be one of her worst, yet.

Finally made it through to the end of Barbarian Prince. Complete slag. Glad it was free (via Kindle Unlimited).

Finished the audio book Crouching Tiger, Forbidden Vampire by Kerrelyn Sparks. Book 16 and the last one in the series. Boo hoo! I enjoyed the series very much. Next audio book is The King of Plagues by Joe Maberry. (sorry, not romance)

Finished Promises Reveal by Sarah McCarty. I found the first half a bit boring. I didn't like that it started with a shotgun wedding. I thought that was stupid. But the last half of the book was really good.

Next I'll be reading Succubus Shadows by Richelle Mead.

I don't know why, but I lost track of this thread! Just came upon it again. :)

Believe it or not, I'm just now reading the Fifty Shades series — just started the 3rd book. Yes, the writing is atrocious, but the story admittedly has me sucked in. I had to read it before my cousin drags me to see the movie next week.

I got about 100 pages into the first one Gina but I couldn't get past the writing.  I wanted to edit it more than I wanted to read it so I gave up.

Let's see, I'm reading lots of stuff.  Male Android Companion by Mackenzie McKade, Subspace anthology by various authors, re-reading Make Me Sir by Cherise Sinclair.  I have some other book going on the Nook but I don't remember the name of that one.  I need to stop starting books and finish them!

LOL...so true! I need to re-read before I see the movie but I've got time since I'll probably be waiting for the DVD. Plus I just can't see that Jamie guy as Christian. I did, however, start watching The Fall on Netflix and do really like Jamie...even if he does play a nutso serial killer...lol.

I haven't gotten much reading done lately. frown

Just started reading Jayne Anne Krentz's new book, Trust No One.  Although I'm not too far into the book yet, it's been a good read so far.  Having a bit of trouble getting used to the main male characters name though:  Julius Arkwright.

ETA:  Finished the book and while it was a good read, don't think I enjoyed it quite as much as River Road.

I only know Jamie Dornan from his very brief stint on Once Upon a Time. I was crushing on him then. :)

I read Fight With Me (With Me in Seattle) by Kristen Proby. It was better than the first book but still just okay. Then I read Tight by Alessandra Torre, which was really good, plenty of twists that kept me reading most of the day.

I see that everyone that posted in the Feburary - What are you reading? post either has a gold key membership or purchased one of the new memberships. I'm still undecided but will probably purchase a limited membership if/when I ever get another wish list offer. I really struggle to read physical books (just love my kindle so much) but there are still some titles that I'm willing to wait for the physical copy.

Anyway, I found a lot of great books and authors from these threads and really appreciate everyone who posts here.

Me too! It was worth it to me to stay for the ebook vb in the games forum. I've borrowed and loaned SO many great books there over the last couple (few) years or so. I would miss it too much if I left. And I love this forum.

Anywho...

I've just finished Blind Man's Wolf by Amelia Faulkner and really enjoyed it. Now reading Starstruck by L.A. Witt.

I decided to keep re-reading Cherise Sinclair books and just finished up To Command and To Collar.

Okay, now I'm going to read some of my new ebooks.  Just bought The Bold and the Dominant and a couple others so I can't wait to dive into them.

I finished Succubus Revealed today. Totally predictable, and I really didn't "get" the bowling league thing. What a ho hum ending to the series.

Started on the second book in the Hell's Eight series by Sarah McCarty, Sam's Creed. Half way through....it's a snore-fest. Nothing like the first book. I hope it gets better in the 2nd half!

Finished Sam's Creed - 3 stars. I didn't like the way the novel started. I just didn't like either of the characters as portrayed in this book. The woman got on my nerves, and the man didn't impress me.

Finished Tucker's Claim - 3.5 stars. I didn't like the way the novel started. I think it's ridiculous that a man out in the middle of no where old west could have "toys" use them without asking, and she would take them without any discussion. There was way too much sex, not enough story.

Started on Tracker's Sin, which I sure hope will be better.

Also planning to start Demon Angel by Meljean Brook.

Tracker's Sin was great! Going to start Shadow's Stand ASAP.

Demon Angel is a very odd, choppy and confusing book. I am clearly going to need to skim/speed read through to the end of this one. It introduces a lot of characters in the following books, so I am determined to get it out of the way.

I read Sex, Repeat, Love by Alessandra Torre and Kyland by Mia Sheridan. Really liked them both.

I could barely get through A Lady Can Never Be Too Curious (Steam Guardians, Bk 1) by Mary Wine. Nothing I've read of hers has ever gotten more than 2 1/2 stars from me, so she is now Xed off my authors list.

Moving on to Michelle M. Pillow's Lords of the Var series. So far, it's been typical Pillow camp. :D

Still working on The Bold and the Dominant.  I can see why they're ripping off soap opera names for this series, it's really like a soap opera and the characters barely get a moment of happiness before something else happens.

Dragged through Demon Angel, and the next one, Demon Moon, which I skipped to the end and read the last two chapters. Going to attempt  the third one. After that, I give up.

Started Shadow's Stand by Sarah McCarty, and it's really good!
