February manga swap is up and accepting game players. http://www.paperbackswap.com/forum/topic.php?t=102784#p2027453

The quick summary of how it works is:  You send/buddy 2 credits to game host, you are assigned a game buddy, you get two books for your game buddy off their wish list, they get two books for you off your wish list for you, when your books are received by your buddy you get your 2 credits back.

End of game, you have two wishlisted books you can now remove from your wishlist without spending credits, and you've made some new friends!

I really so don't understand this.

If it was just "send 2 manga books" I would understand. You'd get something new & different, and send out something you've already read.  Maybe you like what you get, maybe not, but it's a suprise.

But if it's "send 2 manga books off their WL" then I'm almost certainly going to have to go buy them.  At which point, it seems more sane to me to just buy 2 books off my own WL and not have to ship them!

I take a look at the participant's WLs and see if I already have 2 or more books from their WL or if the UBS has some for a decent price. If I do, you can ask to be someone buddy.

Besides, it's nice to do something for someone else.
