This is a wonderful resource for looking back in time at old cookbooks. Everything from cooking for hte sick, to vegetarians, to economical cooking can be found here.

If nothing else, it's fun to look at.

Oooh - I love old cookbooks!  My cooking "Bible" is a book from 1954 that belonged to my Great Aunt - The New Settlement Cookbook.  It tells you, among other things, how to kill and dress a chicken. :)

Thanks for the link!

Oh my gosh, I'm in heaven.  Thank you, thank you, for the link.  I love buying old cookbooks at garage sales.   My favs are the ones compiled by the ladies church groups, women's clubs, etc.  I have some from the early 1900's that I still use.

I will end up spending hours on this site and won't have time to read!
