Oooh - I love old cookbooks! My cooking "Bible" is a book from 1954 that belonged to my Great Aunt - The New Settlement Cookbook. It tells you, among other things, how to kill and dress a chicken. :) Thanks for the link! |

Oh my gosh, I'm in heaven. Thank you, thank you, for the link. I love buying old cookbooks at garage sales. My favs are the ones compiled by the ladies church groups, women's clubs, etc. I have some from the early 1900's that I still use. I will end up spending hours on this site and won't have time to read!
