A friend of mine, who is also a PBS member, is currently on a waiting list for a liver transplant.  He is separated from his family as he relocated in Florida closer to the Mayo Clinic while his family stayed PA to continue with work and school. 

A website (iGive.com) is holding a video contest.  They are giving $1000 to the winning video.  I made a video for him and submitted it to the site.  The video that gets the most votes wins.  He and his family could definitely use this money.  They expect over $50,000 in unpaid medical expenses. 

You have to be a member of iGive.com (totally free, and takes just a few seconds) to vote.  Once a member, you can vote once daily.  I've made it my homepage so I don't forget to vote each day.    :)
