Both he & Taylor are broken but brought together pursuing the investigation to bring the killer down. Loads of backstory on Taylor, Baldwin, Sam, & the murder squad. Interesting murders and I would actually read this book as the first in the series

What a great thriller, starts off at a run and keeps going till the end.
Characters with lots of backstory, baggage and a strong sense of needing to catch the bad guys.
Wild ride.
