Nothing really new, if you've been reading as many diet books as I have. One thing is clear: after forty, we cannot afford to consume any empty calories. Author isn't into health foods but offers some practical encouragement and ideas.
This book was very helpful on my journey of caring for my body as I age.
This is a very interesting approach to fat fighting. It stresses that you have the power to make your after 40 years rich and rewarding. It's all about developing a plan that works for you. The book talks about stress and its connection to weight gain. It talks of three catagories. 1) Stress-resistent (healthy eaters), 2) Stress Overeaters, 3) stress undereaters. The book than takes each type of eater and gives tips, guidelines, etc. to help them create a plan for themselves. I really received many helpful tips from this book. I've written down the things I've gleaned from this book so I could pass it along to someone else to enjoy.
