This was the most riviting ,gripping, most horrific book i've ever read as far as a true story. I wasn't sure how much I could read after the first few pages, it made me sick, but the pages kept turning fast and way into the night until I finished it. The abuse this young girl took from such an early age and on into her adult life is unbelievable. No woman should ever be treated the way she was. Beaten and battered and made to live the life the man wanted her to live without her having any choice in the matter. I honestly believe every woman should read this and if you or someone you know is going through this please get help for yourself or help for them. This is serious abuse. This is without a doubt a pitiful true story that should never of had to take place to begin with.. The way this jerks family stood up for him in court is disgusting and absurd. If you should read this, it will touch you deep down in your soul. Especially if you've lived any of it. Or know someone else who has. I did, but NEVER to this degree.
