Is there anyway to filter someone's bookshelf to just see if any of your reminder list books are on their bookshelf?  I just did a deal with a gal who had several of the books on my reminder list and it would have been easier to get through her bookshelf if I had been able to use a filter.

Any one know or how I can suggest it to the powers that be?

Thanks!

Tory

There isn't a filter that I know of yet - I'd like to have it too, though!  If you go to the bottom of this page under Company and click Contact Us, you can send in suggestions using the Feedback button.

The way I "filter" someone's shelf is by doing this:  I add a book to my reminder list, and then I go find several versions of it that I'd be happy getting and add those too (i.e., I don't want audio books, etc.).  Then if I'm on someone's bookshelf, I just hit Ctrl+F and search for "Reminder."  It will jump to that word, which would show me any of my reminder list books.  It makes my RL kind of long, but I'd rather do that than sort through long bookshelves!

I just tag books with my own code (dog's name + RL).  It's easy to see when looking at someone's shelf.  Plus when they finally combine the lists I won't have so many books on one list.

Tory, a member of PBS once posted on this topic, and I'll give your the URL for that thread.  There was some success using his method.  Since the thread will someday fade into the sunset I suppose I should copy and paste the info somewhere I can find it again.
