OK  here goes.  I just posted this wondering if people would be interested, WOW what a response!!!

First,   There are several people waiting to recieve thier copy of this book from paperback swap, just like me.  Therefore discussions will not begin until OCT. 1st, this should be plenty of time for interested people to finish up books they are reading and get the book The Secret of the Bees.   So have no fear Clara---since you and I have been discussing the book club and wondering how to do it, we will wait for you to get back!!!

Second, Clara and I was wondering if everyone could meet in a chat room at certian time.  For Example, we will make deadline to read such amount and then all meet in a chat room for discussion.  How does that sound???

I don't have any questions....so I'll just say I think the chat room idea sounds great.  It will be a first for me though...I've never actually been in a chat room before, believe it or not!!    I just got the book today, and will start it tomorrow hopefully.  I keep hearing how good it is, so I'm excited to finally read it!!   Thanks for setting this all up, Amanda and Clara.

I just wanted to say that I highly recommend the audio version of "The Secret Life of Bees."  It is VERY well done. 

This is a great idea.  I'll try to get the book and join you all for the chat.  We chatted in the Chat room tonight about it.

Well, October 1st is tomorrow (Wednesday).  I am hoping we are all still on for our discussion / chat?? 

If so, please somebody just let me know what time the chat is scheduled for?  If the time is "up in the air" I might suggest that around 6:30 p.m. would be good for me.  But I am very flexible.

Anyway, I hope we're still on.  Please let me know!

Well, obviously I missed the October 1st chat --- we have been having some family issues and I hadn't had time to check the boards.  However, I did finish the book last night and absolutely loved it and would love to talk about it.  Are we going to have another discussion?
