Final Jeopardy is the first of the Alex Cooper books by Linda Fairstein. It is a fast pace story about a Manhattan Sex Crime prosecutor who has to solve what was suppose to her own murder. Her friend Isabella was mistakenly killed while using Alex's vacation home. Final Jeopardy is a great story that will leave you wanting more of the Alex Cooper series.

First book in the Alex Cooper series. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and this book kicks it off well. They are well written with lots of historical facts and details and typically, it is not easy to predict the ending. If you are looking for a good series to read, this one is top notch with great relationships.

The book jacket says it all: "From its Laura-like opening, which hooked me completely, to its astonishing denouement, I was held hostage by Linda Fairstein's Final Jeopardy. This is no I-guess-this-must-be-what-it's-like fantagy of how the criminal justice system operates. Final Jeopardy is a smart and gutsy insider's whodumit. But the novel has more than authenticity going for it. It's got a terrific protagonist: Alexandra Cooper is a tough, dedicated assistant district attorney and a warm-hearted, funny and insightful dame. Linda Fairstein has done one hell of a job."
