In The Final Summit, David Ponder is now seventy-four years old. His wife Ellen has passed away and he finds himself alone. The archangel Gabriel gathers up many renowned leaders and one common man, David, to the Final Summit. There, they confer to discuss the answer to the question: What does mankind need to do to save humanity from destruction?

This is an amazing book and I feel like I need to go back and read the first book, The Traveler, to get more background information about David. Very easy to read, filled with great quotes and motivating renowned leaders such as Abe Lincoln and Winston Churchill, you won't go wrong with this gem of a book! Brimming with history and inspiration, The Final Summit is an entertaining read!

The Final Summit by Andy Andrews is a wonderful story with great characters that I couldn't put down. Andy is a great story teller and I loved this book. Even though most of the book takes place at a summit to discuss the solution that will save the world, it feels like a great adventure since Andy uses such characters as Winston Churchill, Joan of Arc and George Washington Carver. David Ponder is the main character who was introduced in The Traveler's Gift-another great book by Andy.
There is great insight in this book while being entertaining. A great read!

History and suspense combine to make you forget time when you enter The Final Summit.

I could have closed the door, crawled up on my bed, and read this book all night. I had to discipline myself to read just a chapter or two at a time. The first chapter was a bit slow for me. I kept thinking that a businessman would enjoy it. I changed my mind when the Archangel Gabriel appeared. The protagonist, David Ponder, is a successful businessman around seventy years old. The antagonist is time itself embodied in an hourglass.

At the Final Summit, Gabriel poses a question which must be answered correctly before the sands of humanity's time run out. David Ponder meets with a number of historical figures, both well-known and obscure, to solve the complex problem with just two words. Two words that will change the course of humanity.

Along the way, Mr. Andrews weaves in some fascinating, little known, historical narrative that I enjoyed immensely. The story was so well-written, I cannot wait to read his previous book, The Traveler's Gift.

Five Stars!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

The Final Summit by Andy Andrews takes the reader on another inspirational adventure of discovery with David Ponder, Traveler extraordinaire. Davids journey is a thought provoking . . . no, action provoking, quest for the two-word solution for correcting the current state of humanity. With the collective wisdom and intellect of the history of humanity available to him, how could he not succeed? Or is that enough? Andy Andrews easy to read style leaves plenty of time for reflection and planning.
