Final Verdict is a compelling novel. Sheldon Siegel is in a league with Hohn Grisham. I rule in favor of it as quality reading. I wasn't able to put this book down.

I have become an avid Siegel fan and love the characters, Mike Daley and Rosie Fernandez. They feel like family now. Siegel makes the practice of criminal defense easy to understand; how courtrooms really conduct business (not like Perry Mason or L.A. Law) and all the hard work it takes for both sides to put on a case. Mike & Rosie are defending a client who is dying but accused of murder. The victim was painted as a saint but as the investigation continues, we find that he was anything but and many could profit from his death or feel satisfaction by it. Great ending too!
