I am sure that this has been answered before, and I think the answer is no, but just thought I'd ask.

I was at my FOL sale last week and picked up two books that sounded cute.  When I went to post them, realized they are both WL, but are also both ARCs.  Oops!  The WLs are small and, I think, slow-moving (based on the fact that the most recent copy of either was posted at the beginning of August).  Obviously I'm not going to post the ARCs, but I'd like to offer the people on the WL these copies since the WL does appear to be so slow.  I've advertised in the genre forum and the unpostable WL thread and the ARC thread, but I'm guessing that chances are slim that the 5 people on the WLs for these titles will look at those posts.  I just want to get books to the people who want to read them!

Sorry Purvi.  There isn't a way to see who is wishing for a specific book unless you happen to find it on their individual WishList...

There are times when I would love to be able to see who's wishing for a book.

I get a lot of books from Ireland & UK so they often have different ISBNs then those on the WL - they are the same book, not ARCs - so it would be nice for the person on the WL to have the oppurtunity to order them.

And no, the 'similar book' email doesn't always get sent out in this case.

So, I guess it's another reason to put all possible ISBNs of a book on your WL

You can tag the heavily wished for book with the isbn of your book, or post it in the Book Bazaar or genre forums.  I'm sure someone would snap it up!
