Am I correct in my belief that there is no way to see and/or contact a list of members wishing for a certain book?

I have a book, "Tomorrow when the War Began" that I'd like to pass along, but it's not postable.  The book has 5 or so scattered paragraphs highlighted (like someone used it for a book report) but is in otherwise good condition.  It's the first book in an Australian series that hasn't yet found much of a following here in the States, though it is available on Amazon.  My point being that even with a very short wish list it could be a while before a copy becomes available and I'd like to make those waiting aware of the possibility of this copy.

I'm thinking of posting the book, then canceling the request after I have a chance to PM the requestor.  I do not want a credit for this book, though I would prefer to include it in some sort of deal as I have lost a credit on it (didn't notice the highlighting on my quick pre-reporting flip through).

I've posted a thread for this book in the Bazaar but I feel like it can be very hard to find books or people because of the sheer volume of the forum.

Thoughts?

Yes, there is no way to find the names of those on the WL.

I would, if I were you, put a blurp in your signature that you have an unpostable version of .....

Alison, there is a thread for precisely this - unpostable WL books - every month in the Bazaar.   I'd post it there, in addition to Karen's suggestion of putting in your siggy.

The thread was burried when I checked before posting this, and I'd really rather give it to the people who are already on the wait list (which is only 2 ppl, making the odds on hitting them in a forum low), but I'll add it in there too.  Thanks.
