a style that brings to mind Mark Twain, Art Buchwald, and Garrison Keillor. This is a book about the tales of the outdoor life with a sense of humor. I have all the books Patrick McManus has written, I love them! I found I had two copies of this one so put on on here for someone else to enjoy. I went to a one-man show of this man's books, I never laughed so hard in my life. I just wish I could go again, but alas he only does shows in the Northwest and I now live in the east. If you know a hunter or fisherman who can laugh at himself or at his buddies this is the book for them.

Another hilarious McManus book. All of the ones I have read are so good, you will want to read them over and over again. You will even find yourself reading some of the passages and stories to friends, because they are too funny to keep to yourself.

Patrick McManus is the king of outdoor humor. His tales with crazy Eddie Muldoon and Retch Sweeney May not be sophisticated enough for you high-brow types but for us good ol' country boys they are always good for a laugh.

If you have take life too seriously, read this book. You will be laughing, even howling, at the antics of Mr. McManus and people like Rancid Crabtree and Retch. A fine appreciation of the outdoors and a look at the fiobles of people is what this book is all about. The short vignettes make this a good book to leave around the house so you can pick it up for a good laugh anytime.

Oh-- Patrick McManus---Gosh he is funny. If everyone in the world read just one of his books---then at least everyone in this world would of laughed out loud and smiled just for awhile. He writes just as he sees things and I have never read one of his books that I didn't really, I mean really--laugh out loud.
