Hi everyone,

I just finished "The sweet gum Tree"  by Katherine Allred   it was so good. very emotional , you need tissues for this one.

Has anyone else read it ? and can you recommend something similar ?

I've heard alot of good things about this book.  Havn't read it but  heard it was really good one.   I've seen it compared alot to  Always to Remember by Lorainne Heath alot  Hard book to get ahold of though.

You might enjoy Linda Howard's After the Night and Shades of Twilight. Both are heartwrenching. I loved them!

I just put the Sweet Gum Tree on my wish list.   I kept thinking about Morning Glory by Laveryl Spencer when I read the description.  You may have already read MG because it is so often recommended here.  It is the first keeper I have read in a while.

Thanks so much ladies ,

I have After the night on my keeper shelf , I loved that one too.  Shades of twilight , is in my TBR pile. Thanks for the suggestion , I'll get it out and start it today...lol

Pamela , I have not read Morning Glory , so I'll look into that one as well thanks.

Tanya , I love a storyline where two kids meet , grow to love each other , and something sad happens but , they do get their HEA.

Or any story line that is emotional, but that is one that always seems to get me.

One more thing....

If you decide to buy the book...Dont get it at Amazon..  the cheapest on there is $15.00- $28.00

Barnes and noble.....do not have it anymore...not in print

The publisher that I got it from is Cerriowen press  ( its a sister site to Ellora's cave) and its 9.99

Yeah Margarets right you would like  Paradise  by Judith McNaught  forgot about that one.   If you like Paradise you'll like Perfect too.

I Promise sounds really good.  Is it a emotional book?

Was the shipping cost reasonable from them.

Creeker ,Is Perfect by Judith McNaught also ?

I just ordered Paradise.....

The shipping cost ( if i remember right is reasonable) I ordered The sweet gum Tree about a year ago when they were having a sale ,I think if you order a certin amount ,like amazon the shipping is free.

The sweet gum tree , was in my TBR pile for a long time before I read it. Had i known I 'd like it so much I would have read it sooner.

Also ,I Promise is very emotional . Keep tissues close by.....

I seem to have a theme on my keeper shelf ( tear jerkers)....LOL
