I thought this was a great book! Never read this author before and picked this book up on a whim; glad I did. Morris has a very reader-friendly writing style and great character development. Lots of tragic elements to this story, but really worthwhile. Looking forward to reading her other books.

Better than "Songs in Ordinary Time", not quite as good as "A Dangerous Woman". A good read.

I really like this book. Fiona, the main character sometimes seems to be so self-destructive and she doesn't even realize it most of the time. She is an ordinary gal, but as the story goes along, you come to realize the why's and wherefore's of her personality. The book keeps your interst and never does it get dull.....a WOW ending for sure.

Fiona Range --very good read. Not for those who want some quick chick lit. This novel has some depth to it and is well worth the time I spent engrossed in the pages. You won't want to stop reading, you will find yourself saying "just one more page". And when the ending is near you will wish for more of Ms. Mary McGarry Morris words.
