Gathering together 16 original stories by some of today's finest writers of fantasy and science fiction. These authors include: Lloyd Alexander, Diana Wynne Jones, Garth Nix, Patricia A. McKillip, Meredith, Ann Pierce, and Nancy Farmer. Each with his or her own inimitable style, tell stores that will entertain, provoke, startle, amuse, and resonate long after the last page has been turned.
A bunch of short stories. Some good, some mediocre, some just dumb. "The Baby in the Night Deposit Box" was one of the funniest imo.
A good intro to Scifi and Fantasy for YA's...
Short story that would make the best transition to film:
"Remember Me" by Nancy Farmer
Really excellent anthology from the Firebird imprint, which specializes in YA fantasy. The list of authors really speaks for itself.
