A good book about a girl's love for an abused horse and determination to see it become well. I read this book when I was a young girl and I loved it! I always loved horse stories and I think this would be a good book for any young girl that has or ever wanted a horse of her own.
I enjoyed this story a lot. The young main character had many problems to face and the author did an excellent job of helping Willojean grow and learn some hard lessons. My only negative comment is the first person present voice, but it is done well.
