I've never used one before so I'm in need of info. I'm looking for a deal on any sewing books, like Sewing for Dummies and such. Or any websites or other books you could recommend?

Congradulations.  I have one very important tip.  Do not throw away the book that comes with your machine.  I have encounter this issue so many times when trying to teach people how to use their machines.  I have been sewing for more years than I want to admit.  I still refer back to my book from time to time.  Since I have owned 5 different machines in my life I sometimes forget that my current machine my not do something that a previous machine did or it sets up differently for a particular task.  It is an important reference.

Happy sewing.
