This book was difficult for me to read as it dealt with the fallout of a secret affair in the main character's marriage. This touches very close to home for me, so it was at times a tearful experience. It was very good for me to hear the unfaithful spouse's side of the story, even though the circumstances were quite different from my own. Ms. Hatcher's characters are genuine and the changes they go through were insightful. A very good study on forgiveness and what it means when we CHOOSE to love and CHOOSE to forgive, rather than feeling like it.

This was a great book. I really enjoyed it and felt for the characters involved. I may have been tempted to do as Erika did but our secrets have a way of being found out.

Moving and challenging. Hatcher again challenges us with events from some people's everyday lives and invites us to see them through the eyes of God. Contemporary is not my genre generally, but I make exceptions for books of such character and delightful storytelling.
