This was a very engrossing read. It follows a family in a small Lincolnshire fishing port from 1924 to after WWII. The focus is on the wives and families left behind when the men are fishing the North Sea for weeks on end. Very well written, and I could not wait to turn the next page to find out what happens. Another wonderful read from Margaret Dickinson!
