I have fond memories of this book from when I was a little girl. I was so glad to find it on here to share with my daughter!

The Five Chinese Brothers are identical, but each has a special "talent" which saves the life of one.

Written in 1948, one of my favorite stories from my childhood, (1960s, if you must know), I'm debating whether its politically correct enough to read to my first grade class.

Loved this book as a child, love it now, and so do my students! Great to read with an Asian accent or even to act out...

This was my absoulte favorite book as a child. Boys and girls alike should still enjoy this classic in today's world.

This is a book read to me as a child and I still remembered it vividly. The illustrations and ideas are so incredible to kids and it becomes something they never forget. It's just plain fun.

I remember this from my childhood, I loved it. Some of my fellow teachers think it's a little too violent for our tender times, but I took it to heart and it didn't affect me adversely......didn't it?

Probably quite racist, but it was written in 1938, and it is a classic from my childhood.
