This was a well written YA book. It's about 5 kids who are kidnapped on the way home from school on the bus. Suspenseful and well done. I actually read this on a lark because I ended up with several copies from a library box that came to me via a friend. I figured I had better read at least one of them :) It was good, a fast read and it kept my attention. It's from the 70s, but it seemed pretty timeless. I enjoyed it!

I haven't read this book, but according to Amazon.com, it was later re-titled "Ransom" and is difficult to find under the title "Five Were Missing."
