The red, white and blue of the American flag can be seen flying above government buildings, on homes, at sporting events and even from the tops of skyscrapers. The educational aspect of this book is unlimited whether it inspires children to dig deeper into American history or to just make their own paper flags and march around the back yard singing "Yankee Doodle Dandy." It's one of those books children will enjoy reading again and again.
