The sisters of an isolated French convent have rescued an American woman suffering from a head wound and no memory of how she got there. Dubbed Eve, the only clues to her identity are a ticket from a Tangier ferry, and proof that she had a child. No one has reported her missing. No one has claimed her. But someone is following her.... When the nuns are massacred by intruders, Eve flees for Tangier. Plagued by fear, Eve follows the tracks of a stranger waiting in the shadows of Marrakech.
