For whatever reason, probably not the author's fault, I didn't enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed the other Flashman books.
Still, it was surprising to discover Flashman actually loves his wife, even if he constantly cheats on her. And her behavior---or should it be behaviour, as they are English--- in this book leads me to believe she doesn't cheat on him, as he has often suspected.
